all i see are local farms disappearing for more developments. so sad, what do people think we will eat when they are gone? everyone needs to support local businesses for a better quality of life

I think this is a disgrace. Yet one more example of a company promising something, only to go back on their word! And I don't see what the big concern is for the HOA? Do the right thing for this community and leave this farm as is!

Tonight was the first time myself and children visited Bayberry Farm. We were playing at the park and heard the chickens. We strolled over to look at the chickens close to the walking path and as we were looking at the chickens, I thought how great it is that we can do this in our neighborhood. As we looked at the animals Farmer Toby came out and introduced himself and educated us on all the different chickens and eggs that they would soon be laying. That was also when I learned the farm will no longer be a part of our community. I am deeply dissapointed with this turn. I had visions of myself and my children walking over there with our wagon on summer nights to get watermellons and vegtables. Please Blenheim keep the small town feel that was promised, with a farm, so our children can grow up having the memories of a true community, not just the idea of one.

I am committed to purchasing local products from local farmers. I have been dismayed by suburban/shopping center sprawl in New Castle County over the last 3 decades. Older neighborhoods are abandoned for mcmansions and left to decline. Open space becomes unnecessary shopping centers. I thought Blenheim was different, truly interested in new ideas for land use.
