Bathurst Basketball Association, when do we get a say?

I think you'll find that members actually have no idea what is going on which is why they have been commenting. I for one can tell you that management have not been misleading anyone; they have not been telling people anything because they do not know what to tell people. People are entitled to their opinions and members of an association are allowed to have a say. At the end of the day, members have not been given and ANNUAL general meeting. No wonder they want one.

Can I suggest that anyone who seriously cares about basketball in Bathurst contact NSW Basketball. Obviously from reading the comments on this petition many of you have been misled about the real reason that Bathurst Council have decided not to renew the lease to Bathurst Basketball. I believe the current management are misinforming people. Bathurst basketball needs new management and a new committee. Too much “concrete cancer” involed in current management / committee. Start a fresh and let basketball grow

I am appalled that certain individuals who have a personal agenda have brought the Bathurst Basketball Association to this point. Questions need to be asked emails read as to what level those individuals have gone to bringing commited hard working people to this point not allowing members to hAve their voices heard The committee executives should be investigated.

The self appointed interim committee Do Not have the members at heart! They have their own agendas! They have been the ones that have been obstructive to ensure no agm could be held whilst attempting to spread lies about Paul Masters. Further uncestigation will demonstrate a bullying and undermining group of people setting out to remove Paul masters from the stadium, I as a member have been treated as a fool, had my time wasted by attending many scheduled agm’s only to find that one of them had not shown up to form a quorum. This is a disgrace in this day and age and the interim committee should hold their heads in shame and be nervous that the Bathurst Community will find out what they have been up too!

I support Paul Masters and his management of the Bathurst Indoor Sport Stadium.

Everyone, especially those significantly involved in the institution, should have the right to have their say

All very disappointing....... I am a current member of the committee and first of all before everyone keeps bagging an entire committee understand there are people who were on that committee trying their hardest to do the right thing. I will be releasing a statement to western advocate monday morning to officially notify members that our lease has not been renewed by bathurst regional council which leaves no position for pskc. I plan to hold a meeting for anyone that wishes to attend to make sure we can move forward and to answer questions anybody has soon as its possible to do so. This petition is no benefit to anyone including pskc. I know people think they are doing the right thing and that in desperate times we do desperate things. It only takes one negative comment to damage the future of pskc and paul masters and that is not what anybody wants. Sending the link to this to kids who have no idea what they are commenting on is rediculous and again detrimental to all involved. Hang in there and bathurst basketball will get thru this!!! I cant speak for anyone but myself in saying that i will do my best to give support to anyone involved and that im doing my best to keep this together. Please be patient and be smart about what we say either on social media or too anyone in general as its not beneficial to anyone at this point. As a parent I want transparency re the current situation and process used to remove Paul from his position at the sports stadium.

The stadium provides multiple sporting pathways for young athletes, sport among the youth is commonly an escape from reality. It makes up fell free and happy. This stadium also provides children with opportunities to meet new friends and construct new skills in a sport of their choice. Please reconsider this thought.
