We the undersigned are concerned about human dignity and Sound Transit. We request please from Sound Transit:
- Please initiate a dialogue with transit users about the needs for public restrooms at its stations - especially after millions have been spent in their construction
- The Honorable Sound Transit Board please place the restroom issue on its agenda for dialogue
- Please consider charging a small fee to access these public restrooms such as a quarter or an ORCA card tap
Being that land use policy has forced many transit dependent souls to take 2, 3 or more unlinked trips on transit - we think Sound Transit needs to respectfully reconsider its view on public restrooms please. Thank you.
I am a senior and often travel with my two young grandchildren. Lack of restrooms especially at major stations such as UW is a great inconvenience for all of us.
