I am a homeowner in the Harbor Highlands community; I DO NOT want bathrooms installed at the Harbor Highlands Park across the street from our gated neighborhood. We already have a problem with the homeless jumping our gate and using our locked pool bathroom and going through our garbage every week collecting our recyclables.

This small neighborhood park was built in the early 70s without bathrooms because it was never meant to be used by large groups/parties. It was built using funds received from taxes paid by the neighbors in the Taper area.

As a homeowner in the Harbor Highlands community I STRONGLY object to Councilman Joe Busxiano's attempt to install bathrooms at the Harbor Highland Park. It will attract the homeless from downtown San Pedro into our peaceful and family oriented neighborhood.

I oppose public bathrooms at Harbor Highlands park located on Gatun and Capitol streets in San Pedro, CA
