I work for Santa Fe Cc and I found out today that It is company policy that all employees must use the bathroom that matches your birth certificate. As a trans man this puts me in a very distressing situation. I can use the women's room and make people uncomfortable ( as well as being uncomfortable myself), refuse to use the bathroom at work and potentially cause damage to my body, or use the men's room and risk losing my job. I would like to get the company to change this policy so that current and future transgender employees will be able to use the bathroom without the fear of termination of employment.

People should be allowed to use the restroom of there chosen gender it's unforgivable to deny people the use of them
I won't be going back if they refuse bathroom rights to trans folks. Would be a shame too, since we go once a week as a family of 5.

I get so tried of seeing women ran out of the women's restroom. And the same for men, I don't think it's right. Just let people go where they need to go. It shouldn't matter what's on their birth certificate. They just need to use the restroom.
