We are in need of a new school! Scottsdale has an opportunity to provide children with a higher standard of learning. BASIS provides my twin daughters the education every student deserves. With school expansion we can facilitate having more students with higher education abilities.

I support the construction of the new Basis Scottsdale campus on 128th street & Shea Blvd. The current campus is too small and congested. The new campus will provide the student with a better and safer environment for the students to learn. It will also provide more spaces and class rooms for the students. It will reduce congestion and will make it a more desirable neighborhood to live in with more families wanting to send their children to Basis.

A Basis school will improve the value of nearby properties as parents are attracted to homes within walking distance. It will improve the value of a Scottsdale address by broadening the educational options of our children.

We have lived in Scottsdale Mountain 20 years and the Basis School on 136th and Via Linda is NOT a traffic problem. I have never had a significant delay during school hours . I am very surprised there is a petition against this. The addition of this school would enhance property values significantly. There are families that have moved to Scottsdale Mountain to be closer to the school. Perhaps having another school in the area would help slow down the traffic that goes too fast on Shea as it is! The traffic would not be affected around 5:00 when people get off work. It may be a little slower in the mornings. I trust that the traffic department has done a good job figuring this out. HAVING BASIS SCHOOL IN OUR AREA WOULD ONLY ENHANCE OUR PROPERTY VALUES AND THAT IS WHAT I AM INTERESTED IN!

I live at Eagle Mountain, the golf course actually has 3 of it's holes in Scottsdale and the rest in Fountain Hills, I firmly support this as I do not believe it will negatively impact traffic on Shea.
It is necessary another school.
