Having a school such like Basis in our city is a huge plus. It is a draw for families and improves our property values. Basis is truly one of the best educations in the country. I am proud to offer this as part of our Scottsdale School District-every child gets a chance at success.

As a Scottsdale resident, parent and business person, I think BASIS Scottsdale's expansion is exactly what we need for our community to thrive.

The City of Scottsdale includes mention of BASIS as the #2 school in the country in much of its online and print promotional material. As the Head of School for BASIS Scottsdale I have participated in several interviews for the city to be incorporated into promotional videos. We've set the bar high, and our competitors nationwide have taken notice. And I believe our city appreciates our presence here.
However, we need to dramatically improve our facilities in order to maintain our high position within the country. The cramped classrooms, limited storage, lack of outdoor space (none), and sub-par science classrooms are no longer sufficient to remain best-in-class across the US. We can't keep doing what we're doing, knowing that local and national schools are improving their schools and programs, and expect the same results each year.
Help us stay the best so that the City of Scottsdale can continue to tout top-ranked educational institutions within its community!
