We moved to Scottsdale in 2010, since our son was accepted into the fifth grade at Basis Scottsdale. During the past 5 years, we have been very pleased to see our son grow into a responsible, kind and caring teenager, and we attribute Basis as one of the positive influences in his life. The current campus is insufficient for the needs of the Basis family today and I strongly support the petition to build a new campus close to the current one. I am very sure Basis will act as a responsible neighbor and make the project a win-win for the Basis students as well as the community at large. Please approve the project!

We live very close to the new Basis Scottsdale. This is a high quality school that compliments a high quality residential setting of Scottsdale. That will increase property values further! Let's make this a reality that our city needs!

The biggest concern seems to be traffic on 128th Street and onto Shea and parents not following the appropriate drop off/pick up procedures. BASIS has provided solutions for both of these concerns. Further, they appear to be working diligently to resolve any and all concerns expressed by the neighborhood. I respectfully request that city approve the BASIS request.

The cost of the loss of quality of education outweigh the traffic concerns(which have been more then addressed above and beyond what was required). The public school system in the state fails to address this quality shortfall, it would be devastating not to foster the Basis system that not fills that void but exceeds the standards to a nationally ranked level.

My children attend Scottsdale Basis. I know the school is taking traffic, safety and design issues seriously and do not want to upset residents. This is an elite school is an asset to the community.

This is a fantastic school. The administration also promotes a safe, controlled environment. That is why my kids attend here. We feel so fortunate to be part of the BASIS community and hope that they can expand their school to this new perfect location.

I really hope this project is approved for the benefit of the students who will enjoy more space to learn and participate in school activities as well as the city of Scottsdale which will partner with Basis in providing the best k-12 education in the nation.
