Baseball Stadium in the City of Madison - No Donations Required

Let the people decide.

This is an expensive project that the citizens of Madison should have a say in. It should not be in a residential area.

Traffic is already congested to the point it takes me 45 minutes on normal days to drive just 5 miles. If this implemented it will invite more traffic and more noise. This belongs somewhere away from residential areas. Thank you.

There are better ways to spend our money.

I feel every citizen in Madison has a right to have their voices heard on this issue. This is a major decision that should be voted on by the people. Madison is growing faster than the city can upkeep it, I am not sure if this is in our best interest at this time. Thank you

I am against the proposed baseball stadium project.

Baseball has already failed here.

We do not need a Baseball Stadium

Madison cannot afford this project. Breland has not delivered anything but roads in 4 years of development. Stadium and Multi-Use Stadium is ill placed next to the residential communities. This appears to be a "Hail Mary" attempt to save Town Madison. Madison cannot afford to maintain this project if, in a few years, the ball team wishes to again relocate. The city leaders have not performed their due diligence before deciding. The city leaders have long operated under the premise that "they know best". The city leaders should have asked the voters to decide and they did not.

My question is why are we looking for this type of stadium now, before we improve our rods, esp. HWY 72, it is constantly bumper to bumper, which gives no incentive to try the ever growing businesses due to the traffic. I would much rather spend my tax dollars making it easier to get around in Madison and shop there, rather than going to places where it is easier to get to, usually away from Madison. I understand that we need growth, but please make it at least accessible before we get it build. I am well aware of plans to widen major roads, but that growth seems stagnant. I am fearful of losing great businesses due to inaccessibility. A all purpose site is a great idea, but will it make money for the Madison tax base?
