A few days ago an email was sent offering Ludlow residents the opportunity to live on a few floors of the 1760 residence. Although this is an amazing location and may offer many other positive features, there are also so many more amazing things about Ludlow.  Here at Ludlow we appreciate and respect our fellow students from SVA and King's College as well as everything inclusive to living at this residence. Including the opportunity to serve on Ludlow hall council and participate in our dorm's events. 

We live a short ride on the F train from school in a great area surrounded by incredible things with singles and doubles available at relatively low cost.  We have access to free laundry, a community room and a communal kitchen.  

Because of how close Ludlow is to Baruch some students chose to walk and this is feasible when taking only around 40 minutes.  But should Baruch students live at the  1760 location walking would be out of the question and potentially dangerous.  Many people would also need to now pay an extra $104 a month.  

Adding to this Ludlow has quickly become a home to many Baruch students and we don't want to have to leave this area after becoming growing to love it so much the past two years.  We wer fortunate enough to live in this area for two years and simply want to extend our time here.

In no way is this petition meant to degrade the other location or Baruch, we just want to show how many people love Ludlow.
