When you sign this petition you lend your support in asking Baruch College to host a Greenpoint oil spill awareness week. This awareness week would help educate the Baruch population to the oil spill in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This spill is the second largest  in U.S. history and unlike other oil spills of this magnitude the one in Greenpoint has gone largely unnoticed by the majority of New Yorkers.
