I’ve played with this league when we had a summer co-ed team and I went to school at MV and to see the downhill side of this soccer fields aches me. I’ve been playing soccer in the pembroke UOVASC for 13 years and I hate to see this soccer field go to shit.

There is not a lot to do in our rural area so any facilities are a welcome addition.

The field brings the community together just like a hockey arena . Having potential youth soccer tournaments to the area brings in people from other areas thus more revenue to the local businesses. The idea of a recreational system in place is an excellent idea providing its run by the municipal and not private . Provincial and federal government would need to be secured to fund the project. Lets get started by having meetings to work on a plan to facilitate a project .

A soccer field is a great start to support youth and youngsters. To develop competence in sport, continuity is needed. That means reliable acessible infrastructure/space.
