I'm a single-parent, disabled of an autistic 10th grader at WBHS. I've lived in this county since 1999. I believe our rights as people with disabilities have been violated by keeping my son out of school. We can't afford internet for remote learning & we've struggled with added expense of breakfast & lunch for the past few months. My son's spirit has been crushed and he's experiencing extreme depression & tried from being kept from his community, peers, teachers and routine.

I’m a full time working mom. I’m unable to be home with my kids to teach them at home. And both of my kids have IEP programs that they attend in school with the teachers. So please they need to be in school.

I literally have no way to do online learning. Financially, physically my 6 year old is not the only child I have.

I am a grandmother with a chronic health condition. I have guardianship of 3 grandchildren. There is no way I can virtually educate a 3 and 4 year old (one is doing headstart and the 4 year old in pre k), and a 3rd grader. I feel so sorry for all the working parents!!

Open up the schools! It is a disservice to all students, but most especially the most vulnerable students, to keep the schools closed. Remote/digital learning pushes these vulnerable students even further behind.

Keep the option for in person or digital learning. My son will be in 5th grade and he needs the in person learning. Some parents, including myself, will be working full time Job and don’t have the means of their child doing digital learning. It did not work well for us at the end of last year. My daughter will be going into 6th grade she needs the in person as well. Keep the option choice!

I support both in person learning and digital learning, but will send my child to in person learning, because both me and my spouse have full time jobs required to support our family, and home schooling isn't an option for us. Elementary age children require supervision and help with schooling, and deserve to receive it from educated, trained, professional educators for whom we pay taxes to pay salary and for the school buildings and resources.

The best thing for my family is for our kids to be in school. They learn best when they are in a school environment and not doing digital learning. It was a real struggle for them this past spring semester doing digital learning!

Please let our children go back to face to face school!! My kids will be in 8th, 5th, and 3rd. They NEED to see their friends, teachers, and be on some what of a normal schedule. They have been depressed staying home and digital learning is the WORST!! Especially when both parents work opposite schedules and we only have 1 laptop. Please keep it open for face to face learning, they need social interaction.
