Re-development of the Playground in Barnetby le Wold

One or two pieces of equipment have been there for long enough (I played on some of it!!) The last time I went to the playing field, I was really disappointed that there was such a lack of equipment for all the little and young people of the village to enjoy. So, come along Parish Council, let's see some improvements being made. As a past Chair of the Parish Council, I recognise that these things take time but 5 years is ridiculous!

This park is long overdue for an upgrade some of the equipment is the same stuff i played on as a child nearly 30 yrs ago as a mother of 3 children it's been left too late for my eldest 2 to enjoy but there is still time for my 7 yr old to have many years of enjoyment we should be encouraging children to play out in the fresh air but it's hard to do when the play area is in this poor state.

This is long overdue! Don't our children deserve better than this?

This is a much needed for the children of Barnetby and enhancement for the village. The present limited equipment is not fit for purpose especially as it is used by the Playgroup children.

If the funds were earmarked for this how can the parish overlords change it , come on let them have it it's overdue and well needed

The village as a whole will benefit having a modern and safe playground. We have been here 5/6 years now and only taken our kids to the surrounding villages playgrounds. Lets get this sorted as a priorty for 2017 !

I grew up in barnetby and lived there for twenty plus years. The play area is poor and needs a massive change so that the kids can enjoy themselves.

If this was in approved funding bid then it should be done.

Please just build a new park no fancy designs costing thousands just new stuff the swings are the same swings I played on 36 years ago..shocking

I've lived in the village for 18 yrs and would love to see a new play park for the children

We have family in the village and they do spend time at the park so the better the facilities the more time they will spend there.

I have twin granddaughters I would like a play park that is safe for them to play on the one that is there at the moment is a disgrace.

If you the council have received funding for the under 5. This is where you should spend the money. Any future funding can be for the 6+ area.

Keep the play area as it is!

It is not nice for the little one to go down and play. it is a disgrace at the minute

Toddlers need somewhere safe to play & I would think that the 0-5 area will get more use especially in school hours.
