Recently in the press we found out that there was a Computer Engineer Barbie; we loved this. There are not enough girls thinking about a career in computing and this was a great opportunity to glamourize the profession; particularly with the introduction of Computing in KS2. However, we were very disappointed by the books content and the meaning that was portrayed; girls don’t program.
