Let me just say I love video games and have grown up with them my whole life. I've always enjoyed the adventure, fantasy and action. As a kid playing Mario I had fun imagining having super powers and saving people from calamity as depicted in my beloved games. Video games influenced my capacity to imagine and think outside the box.they really did influence my creativity in the best way. So video games do have an influence on the brain, especially on children who absorb everything as their minds try to make sense of reality. Games like GTA are not positive for our society in any way shape or form. One could argue that it is rated M and is not intended for children but kids will get to the games some how and most parents are not to aware of what goes on in a video. I fear for our society when an entire generation of children that have grown up controlling a fantasy where they rape,murder,steal,kill, and do drugs. Kids are going to have their thinking warped beyond comprehension. Mass shootings already occur almost daily. I mean a child fantasizing doing mass shootings to innocent people, and performing heinous gruesome torture to their victims is so harmful and will distort their perception of reality and what is good and what's not. I really hope something is done before it's too late.

1. These games cause violence? By your logic, we should ban the bible, because it causes the most violence in society than GTA ever COULD!
2. Why do you say SONS specifically? Let me guess, hypocritical feminists who are reality-broken. You are aware that girls play video games, too. Or are you too wrapped-up in your delusional world of stereotypes. I bet you wouldn't give a da*n if it was a WOMAN did all that stuff to a MAN.
3. If you said GTA is violent, remember the Hunger Games? Remember the part with the exploding baby limbs. It was still a best-seller. Or 50 shades of gray, with it's sexual nature. Why don't you try and ban those? Again, hypocritical, much?

I don't think they should just because it's not the game it's the person I'm a teenager in their senior year of high school and have been playing video games like Gta 5 for a couple of years now and I have NEVER thought about doing anything like killing someone ever and a lot of other people who play games like gta are the same i mean how many of you have actually played the game and right after thought about killing somebody or anything like that?
