So I got put on this website because of some girl harassing, threatening, and not paying my little sister. All over a cell phone. I don't even know this girl and she used my full name I have emailed the owner of the website several times to take it down. Nothing back. I even contacted internet reputations. The girl never meant me, never knew who I was and got too paranoid about something. Then I have this other girl who is trying to blame me for everything. All because I can't stand her. I hope this website gets shut down. I also started a petition for it.

I myself have been posted on that site and it is pretty bad. I've done nothing immoral or illegal, but because an ex-GF and her crazy fiancee are both on the site, I have to suffer night and day because of it. I can't even get a job anymore because it shows up high in the goggle returns.
He may be hiding behind one section of 'the law'; that's bad enough to say that he's not responsible for what people post on that site. FINE. then give up the IP addresses of those who do post to shift the blame. BUT NO he doesn't have to do that either.
to make matters worse, he SELLS your email address when you try to get your post removed. then 'internet reputation companies' start contacting you, and want to charge a couple GRAND to remove the post 'instantly'. THAT IS extortion my friends because I can prove i created an email solely for dealing with the dirty and now am being hounded for 'instant removal with a lifetime guarantee' for $3000. Extortion at its finest; you know thedirty gets a kickback.

Absolutely ridiculous! I'm trying so hard to raise my child with love and peace, teaching him to love himself and others, not to hate people he doesn't even know and find entertainment in others' pain! This website needs to be shut down!

The website www.thedirty.Com should be shut down for the good of humanity because it is not only a "slut-shaming" site, it promotes cyber bullying, which is ILLEGAL! Nik Richie is promoting cyber bullying by allowing random strangers to post bullying comments about others. He continues to defend his "work" by claiming his First Amendment rights, which I don't believe he should be exercising through a shaming and bullying website. I think it is absolutely disgusting that he has been defended in and out of court by supporters and the ACLU. Cyber bullying needs to be put to rest and Thedirty.com would be a GREAT first step in getting this done. I have not personally been posted on or even commented on said website, but I am here to defend ALL women who have been posted on the website as a bullying tactic by others, whether the content of the posts and comments are true or not. Any type of bullying, such as what this site promotes, is UNACCEPTABLE! Let's shut down this website and stop giving Nik Richie any sort of satisfaction in his "work." This man absolutely disgusts me. This man has a wife and daughter for Christ's sake! Nik Richie should post himself on his own site seeing that he himself is an attention wh*re (created by this disgusting and degrading website that has gone so viral) just like the people who've been posted are claimed to be. I'm sure some of what is written is true, BUT this site is a prime example of cyber bullying and should be shut down IMMEDIATELY! I can't believe Shayne Lamas would marry such an insecure loser! I hope she wakes up from all that GHB he's been feeding her and realize what a disgusting low-life he is and then divorce him! When I saw Shayne on the Dr. Phil show with this douchebag husband, I seriously thought she was on some kind of drug because she looked high as a kite and had almost no emotions.
