Whereas: The United States of America recognizes the importance of freedom for all it's people, including religious freedom, and; Whereas: Religious freedoms have never included the ability to mask, hide or other wise prevent the lawful identification of the individual in the past, and; Whereas: it is of the utmost importance to national, state and local security to be able to properly identify all persons within said borders; WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA call upon our leaders to follow suit with the leaders of Turkey, Canada, Egypt and France, to ban the wearing, sale, or promotion of, the burka (burqa) within the borders of the United States, all Provinces, and all associated States.
