The alcohol is harmful both to adolescence and adults. Early alcohol
initiation and high levels of consumption in adolescence are associated with a
range of negative outcomes in both the short and long-term. In the short-term, negative outcomes
include: violence, accidents, reckless driving, physical injury, depression, school absenteeism,
decreased academic performance, initiation of drug use, suicide, broken friendships, risky sexual
behavior, sexual assault and unplanned pregnancies. In the long-term, heavy alcohol
consumption in adolescence has been linked with heavier consumption, alcohol-related harm,
poorer mental health and poorer educational outcomes in adulthood.Furthermore, childhood and
adolescence are important periods for brain development. During this time the brain is more
susceptible to alcohol-induced damage and heavy alcohol consumption can permanently impair
brain development. Therefore, the alcohol festival will definitely not bring any benefit to everyone.

It's bring harm more than good. DBKL have to work extra hour to clean up the mess they will do. I don't think a drunken person will do a clean up after drink.

Sbgai seorg Islam, kita adalah "khoirun ummat" yg diutuskn utk manusia. Membantah pests arak adalah perkara terbaik walau yg mnyertainya adalah bjn kalangan org Islam, tetapi mnghalang insane manusia dari merosakkan kewarasan mereka merupakan tindakan yg terpuji kerana arak mmbawa byk kbinasaan, dan ditakuti kebinasaannya turut menimpa org lain yg x bersalah.
