Maharashtra is in top most lists for farmer’s suicide. One of the reasons may be due to increased cultivation of BT Cotton seed. Dr. Farukh Zhaweri, director stated on the survey report by National soil survey department. Approximately they tested soil sample of 1 lakh Vidarbha farmers cultivated land and it was proved that this farmers land has become salty due to high use of fertilizer and is now of no use for production.

Please don’t ignore the ill affect of chemical, fertilizer and GM Crop. Bihar & Madhya Pradesh has already declared themselves as a GM free states. The respective Hon’ble Chief Ministers has given their comment to Hon’ble Forest & Environment Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh to ban the GM trial plot in their states.

Kindly request you to bring ban on all kind of GM trials plot in Maharashtra and declare Maharashtra as GM Free State.

If we do not see any reaction or response on the above appeal we will forced to do Movement to save our state.
