I'm a parent and just the other day witnessed a little boy nearly knocked down because someone parked across the crossing and to get out needed to reverse, thankfully he didn't get hit but hate to think what might of happened if he did, this needs to be sorted now rather then later, I now park a couple of streets away and walk. Turning the street into a one-way would make a big difference and help keep they children safe!!!!

I truly think the one way street practice may help to ease the heated arguments between drivers and also improve traffic flow. I sincerely hope this petition will push Greenwich council to do something because this is a very serious issue for both sites.

I am not a parent with children and the school but often walk up as parents are waiting for their children. I honestly believe that there is a serious accident waiting to happen the way some of the people behave in their cars.

It has become very stressful for even parents trying to get their children to school with the commotion of traffic trying to squeeze in and out of the side road. It’s also worrying that young children learn bad behaviour lexchanged between aggressive driver parents. This is against the ethos of Bannockburn Primary School.

I am a resident of Camrose street, and I now avoid going out or coming home at the school times ! I’ve witnessed verbal abuse and even some drivers that are incapable of reversing ! I think the road should become one way, this would solve the problem of congestion, but why don’t parents walk to school especially in this lovely weather, so much healthier

Road outside the school is always full of vehicles. This makes it very dangerous for the kids coming out of the school gates. Something should be done to preserve the safety and health of the children.
