Citizens, After you post send an email to the County Commissioners. One submission will go to all of them. Then contact the City Commissioners be emailing each of them. Let's make sure they clearly hear the message.

No apartments on Bannerman Road or near Summerbrooke or Ox Bottom Manor.

Schools are already overcrowded. Bannerman Road is rated as an F already because of over capacity between Thomasville road and Tequesta. It is one of the highest rated roads in Leon County for accidents per mile. Our commissioners should work on solving these problems first before making them worse. Vote No

Step one-find thirty or more acres of raw land, adjacent to the city limits, with low density zoning. Make an offer for the purchase of the property. Step two-upon acceptance of the offer to purchase, request a zoning change to allow high density development, regardless of compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood. Step three-after approval of the re-zoning request, convince the County Commission to approve the zoning change. Step four-after approvals for high density development by the County Commission, request for a voluntary annexation into the City of Tallahassee. Step five-after approval for annexation, apply for and receive rebates for the cost of utility and other infra-structure capital costs. What a wonderful way of making money at the direct expense of the citizens, with full approval of our elected representatives. This is what is currently happening on Ox Bottom and Bannerman Roads.  Be sure to be very vocal when the annexation request is made to the COT to stop this abuse from continuing. And, you thougth abuse only occurred at the   Community Re-development Agency-WRONG AGAIN

How are the schools and roads going to handle this? How is this safe for Lake Iamonia?

Enough expansion. Enough new construction. We don’t need overcrowded schools. We don’t need more congestion in this area

Enough of your money-grubbing attempts to change our community.

The recent road expansion project on Bannerman Road did not do enough to handle the current amount of traffic. Now the Leon County Commissioners want to expand the number of residents, which will directly add to traffic.

Bad idea all around. Bannerman road is already horrible to drive up and down. Leave things well enough alone. Stop the development. There is NOT enough room in the schools nor on the roads.

Some of the developments that have been done in the past haven't been thought out well, maybe they should leave things as they are!

Protect our lakes and schools from over crowding. Bannerman road can't handle more vehicles either.

The infrastructure around the area appears grossly insufficient to support the number of prospective new residents.

Developing this land into multi-family housing will be very bad for the environment of this area.

I do not agreeing with developing this land into multi family housing.

Enough is enough commissioners! Bannerman Rd cannot afford any more development! Leave things as they are.
