Hunting for a hobby means using our profound technological superiority over animals, in our quest to killing as much of them as possible. Hobby hunters do this, not to feed neither to defend themselves but only to gain a twisted (and temporary) feeling of personal satisfaction. The prey, on the other hand, has to defend itself using only physical abilities - in a futile match. Of course, a gigantic load of excuses has been said to defend hunting and present it as a "hobby" or even a "sport"(!). No sensible mind though, could ever possibly not see how sadly pathetic these claims are. Of course, hunting organizations are big and thus, they are able to exercise tremendous pressure on political leaders towards protecting their interests.If we really want to do something about it, signing this petition is a good first step...
