What a joke! Watching the band was a highlight as a kid for PAN! Let them play! They deserve to get the same amount of lime light as the dancers do!!

Time for GBPS to put more value on the incredible lifelong benefits of a musical education. Very disappointing Gymea Bay.

This should be a no-brainer!!! How are we ever going to promote the equality of music training and development and all that comes from that, most notably, confidence, is we relegate them to a foyer and basically say “sorry kids..... you’re just not worthy of a stage credit”!!!

What a ridiculous idea. Kids that are putting in the time to learn an instrument and be part of the school band should be celebrated, not considered a "2nd tier" performer and told they have to play outside. Disgraceful. Enough of the dance centric obsession Gymea bay public school seems to have.

It is a 'performing arts night' so they deserve the opportunity to perform.

Why shouldn’t they be included? My own kids both play instruments so I feel especially upset that they can’t play

Surely PAN is firstly and foremostly about the children that train consistently in the dance and band arenas and fairness to all of them.

The children should be allowed on the stage. Disgraceful if they are not

This further empasises the schools disinterest and lack of support for the school bands. Disappointing

The kids deserve to showcase the talents at PAN that they have been learning at GBPS. It is good for them to have exposure to an audience and gives their practices a purpose. It also reinforces the importance of learning a musical instrument to all the school which is so beneficial for the developing brain.

A talented group of kids that deserve to be heard on one of the most exciting school nights of the year.
