This petition has been created to show the Victoria Regional School Board that we the undersigned see Steve MacInnis and the Band Program as a valued asset to Memorial Composite High School. We feel that the Band program should not be sold short by minimizing the amount of classes that are in it, and forcing Steve MacInnis to teach other classes instead. Steve MacInnis has been diligently teaching and forming an incredible program for many years. His efforts should not be so easily overlooked. Band is just as important as any other subject or team, many students have greatly benefited due to the program and it has the ability to benefit many more.
