BAN BURKA'S IN THE UK

For the sake of national security in these current times I think it's required.

I feel strongly about this as I am a motorcycle rider and have to abide by the wearing of a helmet rule and removing it on entering public places. This rule should apply to all face coverings. In my opinion it also shows a reluctance to want to integrate and is rude.

The burka should be banned as with the whole of Europe on high security alert it is a security risk . Plus the burka is not a religious garment it's an Islamic one . If they want to live in the Weston world then they should abide by our customs . We do not go to their country's and impose our culture on them . They should not come to another country and try to impose there culture on us .

When I see a person wearing a burka I tend to move aside (a) because I feel uncomfortable and (b) I don't feel very safe and to feel this in my own country lets me know it's time to ban the burka for life.

Being a British white female, I'm NOT allowed to walk into a bank, shop, school, court etc whilst wearing my crash helmet why then, should anyone else be allowed to wear an item of clothing that covers the exact same facial area as me?

I think it should be banned for security reasons, you should be able to see someone's face in public. A helmet has to be removed in a store to see their face. What if someone was stabbed and they were interviewed "what did they look like?" Oh I don't know because I could NOT see them. I don't care for religion, religion has nothing to do with it, believe what you want but it's for security.

I feel very strongly that Muslims should not be allowed to wear the Burka in Britian, it's not anything to do with their religion at all, it's what the men dictate their women should wear. If we go to their countries we have to be respectful to them how we dress, so it should be same if they choose to come to Britian. Also, with security in mind, how do we know what they are carrying under the Burka, could be a weapon, if they commit a crime how would we be able to say who did it when you cannot see their face. It should not be allowed in Britian at all, we should be like France, we are only asking for trouble if we allow it to continue.

You never know who is under the Burka, it could be a man or woman, come terrorist. The Burka has got to go, this is a western country and not the middle east. I am sure the genuine men of our country do not or would not want, our western women to be subjected to Shariah law. My friend had her shopping bags stolen in my local tesco whilst she was occupied with her children. When the security checked the CCTV, it was two people in full face veils!

Motorcyclists have to take their helmets of in shops, people have to lower their hoodies in shops, so why is it right for people to wear burqas. We don’t know who is underneath, we should make it law that while in public places people faces should be exposed at all times
