The global U.N. Agenda 21 Directive has been designed to affect every community, and already has elements in place in Pinetop-Lakeside, such as: Six adopted International codes, the 2011 General Plan, the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Plan, the requirement that the Town Manager must be a member of the International Cities and Towns Managers Association, Town membership in the League of Arizona Towns and Cities, etc. The stated goal of Agenda 21 is to do away with private property rights, create clustered housing in urban centers, restrict the personal use of automobiles, and even reduce current global population. We support self-rule, U.S. sovereignty, the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence and oppose U.N. International rulings that restrict or limit traditional American freedoms and liberties. We urge the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Council to create a resolution that would reject any/all association with Agenda 21 and/or International directives, groups, organizations, codes, affiliations, (such as those mentioned above), and instruct our Council to be ever vigilant in its avoidance of suspected Agenda 21 connections.
