High frequency trading firms are able to see buy and sell orders in the stock market BEFORE the orders are filled. They utilize computers running very specific algorithms to buy and sell in milliseconds between the normal persons buy and sell orders actually getting filled. It is estimated that something between 40%-70% of all trades each day are done by these computers generating huge amounts of cash for the companies running the computers. This should not be legal, join with me to ban these kind of traders from the markets.
