Is it helpful? The quick and real answer is NO! Zscaler bans everything. I have been working on homework and tried to go to the required website and it was blocked. It is important to ban inappropriate and dangerous websites but, not educational ones. I have gone to educational and unproductive websites such as blogs and games and they were not banned. While the links my teachers gave me to go to were blocked and caused me a lot of pain and stress to try to get around and to complete the assignment. It doesn't help it just causes students to stress out and have trouble completing school work. It also causes in some cases teachers to cancel assignments schoolwork, and homework.
