Ban Walmart From Selling Fish or Having A Fish Department !!!

I have seen this in many walmarts that I've been too also in my state of Nebraska

I agree I have been in Wal-Mart many times and always see dead fish. They need to either be more responsible or stop selling them

I totally agree wit this! Every time I go to a Walmart and happen to walk by the fish department there will be some dead or some waiting for it :( absolutely horrifying!

Everytime i go to walmart i see dead fish. They can provide the proper care for them. They shouldn't be allow to sell fish. Thats so cruelty seen them little fish dead

I wish someone could enforce better care otherwise I support taking fish out of Walmart.

Walmart in Fond du Lac Wi is almost as bad. They shouldn't sell live fish.

All the fish I see there have ick, fin rot and fungus. Almost all their fish are dead or near to death. It's cruel and not right. They barely feed their fish and when I told this one worker that they had a dead betta, the lady simply pushed the cup back behind the others. Those betta's are often sitting in their own filth, not to mention that 7 out of 10 times, they are floating at the top and suffering from Swimming Bladder. Back to the worker that didn't take care of the dead betta. That can set a bad example for people that want to by them. Another complaint, the Walmart crew misinforms people about the betta' s (and fish in general) saying they can live in those cups and small spaces. Maybe they can survive for a week if you're lucky but that fish won't thrive. Fish are just as much as animals as dogs are. You wouldn't treat a dog that way, so why should the fish be any different.

I work at walmart and constantly get complaints about how bad the fish tanks smell and how many dead fish there are in the tanks...I completely agree with this petiton, they need to either take better care of their department or just get rid of it so they don't have to not worry about it anymore.

I find this sickening, and have seen it before also. I believe that this is wrong, and feel sorry for all the young children that have seen the half-dead fish, while going to get the pet they've wanted forever...

walmart shouldnt have anything living being sold their. All of their fish always look unhealthy and suffering i bought a betta fish from their just because it was the only one their just sitting on a random shelf in dirty water and i felt sorry for it.
