Stop using my hard earned money that I pay in taxes to KILL healthy adoptable animals. Stop the heart sticks, gas chambers. We seem to be worse than the Germans that were gassing all the Jews.stop all this Genecide !

I was horrified at what my cat endured today. I had taken him to the vet I have used for almost 20 years and still can't believe what he put us both through. I had gone with my mother ten years ago when her cat had feline lukemia and was just skin and bones. Her vet rubbed a numbing solution on the top of the cat's paw and inserted the needle. The cat didn't even flinch. His eyes had glazed over and he was gone before the needle was extracted. Quick, painless, humane. That is what I was expecting this morning, but that's not what happened. It happened so quickly I didn't have time to question it. The vet had the needle in his hand and said, "Hold his head, this is going to sting a little." I didn't have time to reach out before he was injecting into my cat's hindquarters. Yhis ct, who had been unresponsive for days, snarled, hissed , spit and dove off of the examining table and hid under the counter. I could hear him retching. Everything I took him there to avoid was inflicted upon him. The vet, very calming, said, "Wait a few minutes for that to take affect and then we'll get him out of there." When he did, he did the heartstick procedure. I had no idea that was his intent when I took my cat in there. I didn't even know there was any way other than the humane one I had previously witnessed. I am absolutely sick at losing my beloved cat and even sicker that he trusted me and through ignorance I let him down.

It's not the dogs fault to be bad is the bad owners that don't care 4 them and respect the breed.
