Absolutely appalling that this goes on. Totally heartsick after reading about this happening in the so called greatest country on Earth. You need to enforce the end to this cruelty instantly and make the penalties much more severe for those who do not comply. People who can commit such atrocities to animals are psychopaths.

f you have ever witnessed these methods being used you would know of the sheer terror the unfortunate animals go through, they already know they're about to be killed make no mistake about that! But to be killed in such inhumane ways is barbaric and unacceptable! I have watched a TV documentory some years back on 'HEART STICK ' ending and it is brutal, the animals are NOT sedated beforehand, they are not taken out of sight from the others being killed they are killed in full view of the others in the queque, many take anything up to 15 minutes or more to die. Please for Gods' sake end these two brutal methods of killing!

Gas chambers should have gone out with the Holocaust. It is killing, not euthanasia. i am pretty sure that those killed in that time would not have considered themselves euthanized. Animals deserve better than heartsticks and gas chambers. It is not their fault they are homeless but that of people who do not spay./neuter but do dumpy them when they don't want them anymore. It is bad enough they are dying in shelters but at least make it less painful and scary. Criminals get better treatment than this.
