I just saw HBO Vice's episode on the impact Corexit has had on the environment, ocean life, and the human community. It's appalling that our government doesn't mandate bioremediation, like many other areas of the civilized world!

It is very sad to see that people these days have no regard for human life whatsoever. It saddens me that a petition like this even exists. Being from Southwest Louisiana and having a lot of friends and family there, it is a crime against humanity to do what BP did. BP is no better than TEPCO.

There was a more responsible way of cleaning this up but instead industry and government allowed the use of dispersants...Guess what...the oil still there and now there is more toxic chemicals in the Gulf.

Human and environmental health must be considered first prior to any use of dispersants. Dispersants or any other disaster relief product must not create additional hazards to an already suffering population. EPA, please act on this.

I totally agree that dispersants should be banned, they add MORE toxins to the environment.
