Absolutely Ban Dispersants! Enough already, the oil is toxic enough and then you just add injury to insult and make any oil spill deadlier!

Increasing the toxicity of an oil spill by adding toxic chemicals to it is not a responsible environmental strategy. When the predictable consequence is irreversible destruction of the ocean - it is completely unjustifiable. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/oceanic-dead-zones-spread/ Please stop destroying all that sustains life for short term corporate profit.

My home is on the Gulf of Mexico shoreline. The BP Deepwater Horizon oil disaster and the toxic Corexit dispersant used to cover it up has ruined my hope for living in a healthy environment. The damage to the gulf ecosystem will not recover in my lifetime. Please learn from this tragedy and protect the earth for the benefit of future generations.

I just read bp's response to the segment Vice just aired - they could've saved all of their paragraphs of bs and simply just asked - who are you going to believe? us or your lying eyes?
I don't think anyone is going to realize just how important the La. wetland habitats are until they are gone. It's so beautifully unique in this country, and big oil is basically gang raping it and leaving it for dead.....

I was a cleanup worker from june-dec 2010 and I have had many mysterious things happen to me. I had a tumor grow on my eyeball that I had to have cut off. My PSA has steadily risen from 3.7 in may of 2010 to over 13.9 in march of this year. I dont feel good half the time and I have lost over 60 pounds in the last 1 1/2 years and no doctor ive seen knows why

This wild experiment in dumping such a huge volume of disperants into the Gulf of Mexico during the BP spill has done permanent damage to benthic communities at the beginning of the food chain.

Corexit contains chromium6, which penetrates, mutates, & kills if ingested! It is toxic to marine & human life, & is also a prOhibitted sinking agent when used for oil spills. Earthspeak.org

I am horrified, deeply horrified by the health consequences of Corexit used in the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster. The impact on peoples lives, animal and sea life, livelihoods is beyond comprehension. The stupidity all round from supposedly intelligent people who made decisions to cover up irresponsibility while killing people. It is a crime and criminal charges should be laid.
