The canteen management confirmed this morning that single use cups will be removed from the premises entirely. We are transitioning to a fully reusable system starting next week so please continue to monitor the kitchen area to ensure full compliance with this new policy.

Unsere neue Kantine wurde heute, am 27. May eröffnet. Sie bietet mehr Platz und eine größere Auswahl.
Obwohl es eine der grundsätzlichen Werte unserer Firma ist nachhaltig zu sein werden immer noch "To-Go" Becher in der Kantine angeboten. Viel schlimmer noch, sie sind die am meisten verfügbaren Becher.
Lasst uns gemeinsam unseren Kantinenanbieter zwingen diese Becher komplett zu entfernen. Das ist ein weiterer Versuch etwas zu verändern da Einzelanfragen an die Verantwortlichen im Sande verlaufen sind.

Our new Cantine was launched today on the 27th May, with a new open layout and a better offer.
Although it is one of the major principles of our Company to be sustainable, there are still "To-Go" Cups being offered. Not only that, they are the main type of cup provided.
Let's join together to force our Cantine supplier to change this and get finally rid of "To Go" Cups. This is another attempt to achieve this, as single requests towards the supplier have been ignored so far.

The volume of support has secured a meeting with the facility management team to discuss procurement strategies. I am currently drafting a formal proposal to replace current inventory with reusable alternatives for the next quarterly review.

I do it every day - already today! please be Aware of the biggest challenge you might not yet see: you have to take your Cup with you - if you go to a Meeting, to lunch... but yes, I Support!
I fully support this initiative. I also don’t know if this was noticed but they now offer paper straws instead of plastic ones. Let’s support them in taking the next step towards zero waste catering.
Gute und wichtige Initiative! Ich wäre gerne bereit, ein Pfand für wieder verwendbare Becher zu zahlen. Die "To-Go" Becher müssen echt nicht sein
Auch ein Wiederbefüllen der eigenen Becher sollte bei Einhaltung der Bestimmungen von Gesundheitsbehören o.ä. möglich sein?
I had it already in previous companies that you could "rent" a cup. All cups were the same and whenever you ordered coffee they took the dirty cup (to clean it afterwards) and gave you the coffee in a fresh one.

Also grundsätzlich stimme ich ja zu (und unterzeichne die Petition), bin aber der Meinung, dass Zwang nicht das richtige Mittel ist. Gute Alternativen bieten und dann regelt sich das von selbst. Idee bzql Strohhalmen: Mein Bruder hat seit über zehn Jahren eine Bar und verwendet anstelle Plastikstrohhalmen erfolgreich Nudeln die innen hohl sind. Funktioniert super, Geschmack der Nudeln kommt nicht durch, aufgeweicht sind sie erst so spät, da ist der Trink weg ;) PS: Unzählige Seiten ausdrucken ist auch nicht geil
