Glyphosate ( round up ) is currently being sprayed in Fremantle parks and verges. It's considered a carcinogenic by the world health organisation and is still being used in Australia and the US, most other countries have banned its use. Glyphosate can cause acute toxicity and cronic toxicity, with strong links to cancer. There are environmentally friendly options today which could replace the use of this chemical such as steam spraying to name one. Let's take a stand Freo and say NO to the use of toxic chemicals in our back yard for our community's, family's and children we all deserve toxic free environments.
