As a long time consumer, former employee, and beauty industry professional, I was extremely disappointed and offended upon reviewing the latest ULTA sales magazine featuring OPI's new release "Bond Girls" line of nail polishes. On page 11, the ad for OPI The Bond Girls includes the nail polish with the title "PUSSY GALORE" REALLY??? What editor allowed or overlooked such insulting language and graphics to be published that is degrading and a setback for women in 2013. I am highly offended and embarassed and have already posted this discussion with friends and colleagues on facebook and other online outlets. OPI, You should be ashamed to allow such things all in the name of sales and a draw. I have removed all of your products from my business and will inform my clients which include teens and professionals. Ultimately, the choice is up to an individual, but I personally cannot support OPIs marketing/branding tactics anymore. OPI started off with classic, feminine, even cute, fun and flirty and yes, sometimes edgy brand names. I suppose now that everything is about celebrity sales and so-called reality TV, OPI is just like everyone else, willing to do ANYTHING FOR ADVERTISING & SALES.
