Public displays should be all that is allowed to save our poor fur babies stressing out for days on end.

delete Yesterday I saw a duck had sadly died slowly with one in its mouth. Too many awful cruel things happening to those we should be protecting them. Ban them now. NZ needs to make a stand and not make it about the money.

For the love of animals if people can’t be responsible then take public sales away and just have a public display on one night of the year that’s it the end!! It is simple take a stand and act responsibly

Can’t believe members of the public are officially allowed to play with explosives. Particularly considering the ignorant, the foolish and the malicious people who exist in our society.

I also think it is illegal to let fire works off in a public place ie roads parks etc. if they police this it may make a difference

It's time to stop fireworks that the effect to others, far out ways the benefits/ momentary enjoyment of those who think they need them. The destructive effect far out ways the so called freedom of those that choose to have them, giving all innocent bystanders no choice and huge trama
