Dear Bully, Before you, I loved my life. I was care free. I wanted to be everyone's friend and they wanted to be mine. I was only a child. I changed schools. Everyone was new. Instead of excepting me for who I was and what I looked like, you tore me down. You ridiculed me for something I couldn't help, something I was born with. With every word you spoke, a crack in my personality was formed. I began to hide myself. After so many years of torture, the only thing I could do was change, but not for the better. I became you. I was innocent, but in order to cope, I myself became the bully. I said and did things I was ashamed of. At the time, the only thing I knew to do was fight back. I had lost my innocence. In my eyes, it was fight back, or die. 15 years later, I still cry. But not because of what you called me; because of what you turned me into. 24 years old now. We were only children then. Actually, you are here today, possibly reading this. After years of pain, and feeling ashamed of my body, feeling ashamed of my heritage, and most of all, feeling ashamed of my existence. I can now say... I forgive you. Not because I now except myself, I am afraid that you may have permanently damaged me from that. But I forgive you for my child's sake. I see her innocence. I see how she loves life, and people. She doesn't see skin color, she doesn't see flaws. She just simply Loves. I pray with all my heart that she never loses it because of others cruelty. And dear Bully, when you have children, I pray that you never instill the hate into your child that you presented to me. Because, 15 years later... It still hurts.
