The springs revitalization project is a delicate one. I am against adding a berm and sand to the area after dredging. I would love to see something like what is at Wekiva, to ensure the protection and health of the spring.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I assumed all along the entire dredging process was mandated by St Johns Riverwhatever Management including the installation of a berm. Now that I tuned in and know none of it is, it’s my opinion the entire thing is a waste of our money. Scrap it all. Do we have money to burn now somehow? I thought we had decades of underfunding and we even just had to have a special assessment to fix tennis courts. What a waste of money, stop this madness. Fix our amenities before changing any of them, get back to baseline with all of them before we start burning cash for no reason. Most residents never use the spring, how much are we planning to burn here and then be assessed again for when we’re out of money? This whole thing sounds stupid to me. Let the water do what the water do, leave it alone.
