In 2016 the Brier City Council voted to ban legal fireworks on the 4th of July. We strongly disagree with this decision and are asking them to reconsider. We are good citizens and respectful neighbors who care about the community, pets and the environment. We also care about our families, national pride and tradition. We aren't promoting the use of illegal fireworks. We aren't promoting use of fireworks any day other than on the 4th of July. We are asking for the restoration our right to use legal fireworks on our own properties, one day out of the year. Fireworks are and always have been the candles on the cake of our nations birthday celebration and it's important to be able to pass this down to the next generation. Don't sit idle while yet another American tradition is sacraficed in the interest of sanitizing and regulating every aspect of our lives.
