we actually did it and the government is finally moving to ban these things for good. i cant thank you enough for sticking with this because we just saved a lot of lives together. keep an eye out for when the new rules go into effect.

Recent studies have found individuals who have used solariums have a significant risk of developing melanoma compared with those who have never used them. The risk is elevated by 75% among people who first used a solarium under the age of 35 years. (Source: Cancer Research). Amongst the UK population, melanoma incidence has increased by four times since the 1970s. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has moved Ultra-Violet emitting tanning beds to it's highest cancer risk category and labeled them as carcinogenic to humans. By regulating sunbeds, they remain lethal and will cause deaths. These facts alone should be enough to have sunbeds banned. A tan is simply not worth dying for. We request that sunbeds be banned in the UK to prevent needless deaths.

My sister used these all the time and now she has scars all over her back from surgeries. BAN THEM NOW.
so stupid to risk your life for a tan when fake tan exists. just ban them. nobody needs this.
i work in dermatology and i see the results every day. its heartbreaking. please shut them down.
Ridiculous that these are even legal. who decided it was a good idea to let people bake themselves in a cancer box?
Look at the stats. It is literally just paying to get sick. Needs to be stopped before more people die.
