Ban Smoking in Public Locations Near Children in the Quad Cities

It is about time....

Much needed for our kids and our community

Ban smoking in public locations near children!

Personally, I think they got the law backwards. You should ONLY BE ABLE TO SMOKE INSIDE IN DESIGNATED AREAS. I wouldn't have to do business with establishments that allow smoking and I wouldn't have to be subject to second hand smoke from people smoking outside. As for the businesses that would choose to allow smoking, let the free market take care of them.

Provide clean air to kids while playing in parks and playgrounds is the right thing to do.

This will be healthier for adults also!!

PLEASE STOP SMOKING IN AREAS WHERE CHILDREN LIVE AND PLAY

MORE IMPORTANT WOULD BE TO BAN BURNING OF LEAVES IN THE FALL. THIS CREATES A HUGE HAZARD FOR EVERYONE.

I don't feel that children should be anywhere around smoke especially since they are not able to speak for themselves

I fully support this. No one should be exposed to this on a daily basis because of others.
