I've despised smoking for the longest time and I glare at people who walk around in public leaving their trail of smoke for everyone to inhale. The audacity of these people... and most times, one cannot confront them due to the nature of smokers (addicted, most likely to respond with aggression).

When I take my daughter to public parks, my goal is to make her active and healthy. Not only are the chemicals from tobacco exposure dangerous, but so are discarded tobacco materials (such as cigarette butts and discarded matches) when young children pick them up.

A long time coming. I hate going to youth softball games and breathing in a cloud of smoke. Ridiculous.

It's about time that we non-smokers speak out against smoking in any public space including parks.
