Common sense dictates that shark finning is a danger to everyone simply to provide a substance that is tasteless in food and has no medicinal value. This practice should be banned and the fact that it is reckless and ignorant promoted everywhere.

Since I was a child, sharks have had an infatuation with sharks. I hate to even think it possible for them to no longer exists. I teach my children to respect all life but what is this telling/showing them. Cruelty to animals is cruelty, no matter the excuse.

Sharks are being depicted in a terrible way by the media and most movies, people need to see that they are more than just vicious carnivores. The hunting and eating of sharks for their fins needs to stop.

Nothing should get to the point of extintion, before it's stopped. It should be monitored, and stopped sooner, because as soon as it's put on the endangered list, the've already research, and plotted their next kill, on their hit list.
