
Ban Scarlet Witch


We, the undersigned members of the Marvel Rivals community, respectfully request the removal—or complete rework—of Scarlet Witch from the game’s current roster. While we appreciate the creative ambition behind her character, her current gameplay implementation is detrimental to the health and competitive integrity of Marvel Rivals.
Our primary concern is this: Scarlet Witch’s auto-aim mechanics require little to no skill to dominate a match.
Unlike other heroes who demand aim precision, positioning awareness, and timing, Scarlet Witch’s kit allows players to rack up eliminations and exert excessive map control with minimal mechanical effort. This undermines the skill ceiling that defines Marvel Rivals and frustrates players who value fair and challenging gameplay.
Specific issues include:
- Auto-Aim Dominance: Her abilities disproportionately reward players without requiring them to actually aim or predict enemy movement.
- Unfair Match Impact: Players can climb ranks or dominate lobbies primarily by relying on her ease-of-use abilities, which unbalances matches.
- Frustration Over Fun: The experience of playing against Scarlet Witch feels less like a battle of skill and more like surviving an aimbot.
We understand the importance of accessibility and variety in character design, but Scarlet Witch’s current mechanics go beyond accessibility and cross into unfair automation. If characters like Iron Man or Star-Lord are required to track and lead shots, Scarlet Witch should not be an exception.
We urge the developers to either:

Rework her abilities to require actual aim and skill-based interaction,
OR - Remove her from the roster until a balanced rework can be implemented.
We love Marvel Rivals and want it to thrive as a skill-based, competitive experience. We believe this change is critical for the long-term health of the game.
