For many years, the values in the tradition of homecoming have promoted a violent and unfair environment throughout public high schools in the United States, such as choosing a superior female of a grade. Additionally, the continuation of this tradiction has led to many murders and suicides. The tradition must be heavily ratified to be fair, such as a randomly choosing a superior from a hat, not by voting. If not, then the tradition must be discontinued.
