My children graduated from AHS. In order to continue academic excellence at AHS and foster critical thinking, we cannot allow this ban to move forward.

No one is asking for this. It is not solving any real issues Arrowhead has. It’s pushing a political agenda while saying it is “taking politics out of the classroom”.

The fact that the petition has to exist is so dumb

This is harmful, hurtful and unnecessary policy that should never have been proposed. It's more bad policy from board members backed by right wing organizations (The Republican Party of Waukesha County, WISRED and We the Parents Arrowhead). Don't let it advance out of the committee stage.

I have a son in Hartland district and two nephews at Arrowhead. Kids need to have a safe place to go. There is way to much bullying in high school and it needs to stop. That is what the focus should be on.

I think it's appalling what this and many other local school boards are taking up as pertinent issues. School should be promoted as SAFE places for ALL children. Inclusion, not exclusion.

Yet another unnecessary, ill-conceived, and poorly written policy proposal. The proposed ban will not benefit the AHS community and will result in even more students feeling alienated and an even more divided student body.

Please let all our kids feel safe and protected. If your child is feeling alone or isolated, knowing there are people who support them can make all the positive difference in the world.

The AHS BOE should be fully censured.

The GSA and staff who tan and supported it were essential in my child’s ability to come out at Arrowhead. Signage showed my child the safe spaces in the school. This is a ridiculous ploy to focus on non essential issues by the board!

How about we ban most of the BOE instead?

the arrowhead school board has made it increasingly clear that it does not care about the students. if they did then they wouldn't put this out

It’s messed up that they think stickers are a threat to make them feel unsafe

Bigotry has no home on school boards or in policy. Their attempt to erase these ideas from their field of vision is an attempt to erase the students they represent and ensure that they, too, are unseen. You belong and deserve a school board that represents you!

I do not think they should ban those stickers, every classroom should make people feel comfortable and safe
