Ban Mandatory Sodexo Meal Plans at Keene State College (Current KSC Student Signatures Only)

The food in general leaves a bad taste in the mouth. The ingredients are not fresh. The meats are processed and I can guess the fruits and vegetables are GM crop. The environment is unsanitary. We had a fly problem for a short while and a meal worm was found in some potatoes early this year. Why am I being forced to pay for this?

The food choice is better than my high school but the quality of the food keeps going down. Sometimes it is good, but other times my stomach turns and I have been getting sick after getting some of the food in the DC. We don't have a choice of food, its either we eat this or we go hungry until we give in or spend more money off campus at other places. I don't want to ban it but I want the price of the cost for the meal plan to go down by about 1/2. That is what it should be.

As a first year, I calculated $170 a week to eat in the DC, when I could eat much healthier at home for $40-$50 a week. On the outside, the variety is nice compared to other schools, but eating here has seriously messed with my digestive system.

Sodexo is a horrible company and college students should not be forced into eating their food.

I am tired of the same food on the same schedule I feel like I'm eating predictable high school food. But my high schools food tasted better.

If not a ban, at least allow for a smaller costing meal plan

Not only do I agree with this, but they do not provide for every student on campus...one of my friends is gluten free and she doesn't get the proper treatment for food. We have over 5 stations for "normal" food but for vegans they have 1 and gluten free has a sad attempt for a stand of gluten free food. Things need to change drastically.
