Omegle is a fun website for meeting new people and chatting. In one particular section, a user has the ability to ask a question and observe two other Omegle users discussing it, or he/she can choose to be one of the two discussing another user's question. It is often quite fun and, at times, thought provoking.
Recently, however, a smartphone app has stormed the Omegle castle walls and is making it nearly impossible to discuss any questions. The question section has been flooded with "Kik" requests, with "questions" such as:
"kik: yallneedsjesus"
and
"Kaptn11 @ kik would like too some tits, can you please flash him?"
It is a well-known fact that internet chat sites are the homes of people looking for more than just a good chat, but the "Kik" overload has to stop.
Please sign this petition so we can convince Omegle administrators to get rid of all the "Kik"-ers before we all lose our minds and/or desert the site for greener pastures.
Omegle can be fun. Let's get rid of the spam.
I have been logging on to the question section every single night and the spam is honestly getting worse. It is exhausting to scroll through endless bot requests just to find one real person who actually wants to have a conversation.

Seeing this momentum shows I am not the only one tired of the trash flooding our chat rooms. It feels like we might actually get a clean space back if we keep this pressure up.
